Ashtang yoga involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures. It is an ancient method of yoga. Vinyasa is a series of poses with the power of inhaling and exhaling. The movements are very smooth and almost like dance. Vinyasa is also known as modern-day form of classical Indian yoga.

Power yoga is a vigorous, fitness-based approach to ancient yoga. It does not follow a set series of poses, so poses varies from teacher to teacher. It is just like mixing yoga with gym work out and emphasis on strength and flexibility
